If Kornel doesn't have an archive, I still have 9.8, 9.8.5, 9.8.7, and and 9.8.9 on my computer. I could upload em, if that's a version you're looking for

I have many of the older versions on my HD, unfortunately only the binaries, and not the source. I have recently however brushed off the source of DownFall -- the fantasy code precedesor -- in it's state where I just moved to adding Doom content. I might release it as a bonus oddity :)

Remember how Nethack has a "Rogue level" (http://nethack.wikia.com/wiki/Rogue_level) where the game slides back its own technology for the duration of one level? It might be amusing to give DoomRL a "DownFall level" in the same spirit.

I sort of "collect" all old versions, starting with 0.9.8.5. If you like, I'll upload them somewhere.
