Title: Options!

I wondered if there is any way to make the sound in DoomRL louder or quieter, or even turn the sound off, cause sometimes I want to put my own music in the background. I think that its a good idea to make some standard options with the next release. There could also be a switch - from a ASCII version to a graphic version (but only then, when the graphical version will be released), because I believe some people would prefer to play the good old text-style DoomRL. I'm one of these.

You can set up some stuff in DoomRL.ini... Also, there is a quick key to turn music on or off.

Thanks. That was what I was looking for. I thought also of changing the tracks that i can hear my own music in the game :D But it probably wouldn't work good...

I once did the same, only with sound (I tried to immitate all sounds with my own voice then replace them, it was pretty funny)

Nice idea. But I still think Kornel could make an Options menu to make some wishes come true... ;]

That would be good, though its not a necessity..
