Title: The game does nothing when I try to start it, even after reinstall. Why?

I use Vista, by the way. Yeah, so I love this game, but after a long period of time, it reached the point that whenever I start the game, it does... nothing. at all. Deleting and reinstalling does nothing. Anyone know what the problem is?

My theory is that there's some file that the DoomRL puts on your computer, somewhere, that keeps a second DoomRL game from being ran. But if certain glitches occur, then that file is not deleted, it remains and keeps you from playing it again.

What can I do to play this game again?

Try checking the folder "C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore" - there may be placed old DoomRL files.
