Title: DoomRL over Telnet

I guess all who played Nethack tried to play it over Telnet in order to compare with other players. Ever thought doing it the same with DoomRL? It would be also great if the Angel of Bones was present. That would really bring a lot to DoomRL.

You *can't*.
So that would make this kinda awesome.

(... Well. I suppose you could write a DoomRL playing Bot. If one can be written for NetHack that works, I suppose one could be written for DoomRL. )

Yeah, with strafe support :D

And think what would happen if there was DoomRL multiplayer: "You cheater, you have auto-aim!"

Heh... Would be nice if we could see Blade live in action through telnet =)

sounds great. now, instead of new people or newbies (like me :)) posting for help in the forums, they can ask in the IRC whilst watching some of the better players play and show off their moves ;). I'm all for this.

Seems this idea might work.

live action cam? heh...... well in Nethack Telnet, it's all about watching the people die, but that's nethack for you. Still, you learn quite a bit if you stick around to see what they do and why they do certain things
