Let's come to dance the Dance Of Death!

Req: Brute 2
Two level trait

Effects: Each level gives you +3 to melee accuracy and improves your melee defence by *2


It is based on my experience with AoB- waht kills you most is not getting shot down, but being meleed to death due to stupid luck (50% hit chance with chainsaw + hell knight + RNG 'love' = dead meat). So, what this trait does is giving you SERIOUS edge in melee combat, contrary to brute, which bonus, being awesome early on becomes much less useful later on, after getting the chainsaw. With that, Brute 2 and Berserker, you can easily reap through anything in melee, but still, those two levels could be spend on defensive traits, which are very important, so it does not seem overpowered, at least to me.

So level 2 would give you permanent double damage and 75% damage reduction to all melee attacks?

+2 melee accuracy and +25% damage reduction to melee (applied before armour), only one trait level. That would be more balanced.

Of course, all melee weapons could just get +1 to accuracy without traits, making the knife +2 and the chainsaw +1. That'd be good too.

Note that running gives you *4 melee defence, and you still get hit, often hard. Also, +2 to accuracy is too low, for me at least.

Maybe give it: +3 accuracy, +50% dodge, single level

Explanation:
You miss the imp. The imp misses you.
 You miss the imp. The imp hits you.
 You miss the imp. The imp hits you.
 You miss the imp. The imp hits you.

This is... unfair!

Alternatively, Brute could simply be changed to give +2 melee accuracy and +3 melee damage per level.

(Not entirely unprecedented, either - SoG already gives great double bonus to its niche)
