Title: Random music for levels
Post by: Brewtal Legend on October 08, 2009, 09:57
I think it would be cool if there was an option to make the music for each level change each time you play. After all, most the levels are randomly generated, why not make the music random each time as well?

As an option that sounds fine, but I would object to it as a replacement of the current progression.  IIRC the current progression matches that of doom.  I also find that there's a point in doomrl when the music calms down that happens to also be when you're generally having to play more carefully as the danger level escalates, and I enjoy the effect of that on the game's atmosphere.

I agree. I was saying as an option. Not the default for every level.

I would 100% agree to an .ini option that would allow you to play random music from a folder from levels X to Y, such as Hell levels for normal games and Ao100 games.

I would 100% agree with Aki if he said this, which he did.

I would 100% agree with Thomas, if it wasn't for the fact he was Thomas.

Oh wait...
