There should be an Esc option to the mod pack select screen, I think

This is most likely an intentional evil feature placed in by Kornel, as it's been like this ever since 9.8.11 beta 1 ;)

To be honest, it's probably bad menu coding on Kornel's side that he couldn't be bothered to fix :P
