Title: [YAAoMr and YAWP] My achievements so far.
Post by: isnok on February 04, 2010, 19:44: Whee, i just defeated cybie for the second time! It was a great game, that lastet for three evenings:

He survived 179528 turns and scored 191678 points. He played for 6 hours, 27 minutes and 34 seconds. He wasn't afraid to be hurt plenty. He killed 841 out of 858 hellspawn. (98%) He held his right to remain violent. On level 3 he entered Hell's Arena. He left the Arena as a champion! On level 5 he stormed the Chained Court. On level 11 he ventured into the Halls of Carnage. On level 12 he witnessed the Wall. He massacred the evil behind the Wall! On level 15 he found the City of Skulls. He wiped out the City of Skulls. On level 17 he found the Malek's Armor! On level 19 he ventured into the Spider's Lair. He fled the Lair, knowing how to fear Arachnotrons! On level 21 he found the Necroarmor! On level 21 he entered the Vaults. He came, he saw, but he left. On level 22 he found the Railgun! On level 22 he was foolish enough to enter the Mortuary! On level 22 he found the Angelic Armor! He managed to clear the Mortuary from evil! Then at last he found Phobos Arena! As you can see i only archieved 98% of the kills, d'oh. I was cronically low on health when i entered the vaults, without wanting to clear them, but only to get through quickly saving my supercharge and invulnerability wich were luckyly placed on the level before. I also killed the majority of arachs in the lair, but only went in with ironman 2 somewhere aroung 180% health and no medpacks. I even took ironman 3 which brought me from around 36% back to 43%, but the sound of my plasma rifle shooting into the nothing drove me crazy after some time, so i wandered around a bit, found no more spiders and left (with 20% health). The mortuary went smooth, even if i couldn't bring a medpack. The medpack issue was then fixed in the mortuary, yay nice fight. City of skulls also was great ammochain fodder. I carried a homing phase device which didn't work as i expected in phobos arena, so i gave cybe a plasma shower to finish off my first 0.9.9/HMP win. Feels great!

Here is also my first man who made it, back in 0.9.8.10:

I had never descened below 15 (died two times in the cathedral) in games before, when this brave Marksman suddenly kept on diving down and down. He went a little quicker through the last levels i remember, a homing phase saved and boosted him in the mortuary. The cyberdemon was faced in a duell. I gave him some bullets, cybie gave me a rocket. It was even and fair, and after a few rounds he was finally sent back to hell, ... or whereever he can show up now, defeated by yet anoter a pistol-guy, harhar!

He managed to escape from the Mortuary! Then at last he found Phobos Arena!
