This has been answered many times, but here it is once again.

In the 0.9.9 series of DoomRL, you can just copy player.wad and score.wad over from one version of DoomRL to another.  This will give you access to all the challenge modes that you have unlocked, as well as to maintain the statistics that you had achieved thus far.

Don't worry about it.  Sometimes I might mix up what is said on IRC at #chaosforge with the forum, so the person at fault might be me in this case.  ;-)

You might want to create a sticky, so newbies like me can know the answer instantly.

I decided that even if I could import my 0.9.9 stats into 0.9.9.1, certain changes (the Hellgate in particular) meant I would feel deeply dishonest doing so.
