In other news, I'm grabbing Shottyman as soon as I possibly can. Always.

I don't know, it caused no problems to me. I won all 3 rounds on arena. Haven't you tried not combat shotgun, but chaingun? Cacodemon dies from 3 shots. Third round there is worse, because there are 2 or 3 Hell Knight, they are much healthier, than cacodemons.

With no Eagle Eye, you won't be hitting that often with chaingun, making shotty a much more viable option.

Of course! But for what reason pick perk if it is loosing on this stage of game? I finished game with level 11, you will have 9 levels to pick Shottie and other perks you want. Last perk,that i picked was Hellrunner just because i couldn't decide, what to choose, i don't needed it at all.

On what difficulty? On Hurt Me Plenty there are two or thee HK.

I only gave it a whirl on the first playtesting version, and I thought I could handle anything until the knights appeared..
