 Before him 1778 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:

Close calls here, close calls there, this run was pretty amazing in the end.

Though suprisingly boring, I was hoping to run more into special levels like the elemental cave, I honestly start speed running some levels due of the sheer boring there was.

For some reason RNG really teased me with the mods always spawning next to barrels. I also noticed how easy cybies become with napalm launcher.

Now fun thing; I also ran to a dragonslayer..!

Well I still have to say, I probably was just unlucky with the special Ao100 spice ups that were suppoused to be there, but it was still bit more fun than before. I actually look forward to next final versions Ao100.

Yeah, as far as Ao100 improvements go, you were quite unlucky...

As for the DS... well, the requirements were a little enhanced ^_^

Yes, and it's a right pain in the ass. That said, its still well worth the effort. :P

Somehow I actually doubt that. Maybe it's worth the effort if you know the secret hand shake, but I'm to the point where if I see Dragonslayer the most I do it step on it and pretend to pick it up just so it gets counted. The first few times I gave it an honest effort to try to pick it up, but now I just get annoyed that the game generated a useless artifact. Personally I prefer games where the rules are known, you just have to discover tactics, not games where you are blindly trying to learn corner cases. I do enjoy the game a lot, but the Dragonslayer secret is the primary thing I don't like about Doomrl. I want to play the game, so why am I not allowed to know how?

So far as there's just one such secret, and it rarely impedes normal gameplay, myself, I just feel it's fine. Some people don't enjoy it, some people love the mystery. It's some loss, some gain, but I still believe that those who enjoy it, enjoy it more then those who hate it hate it ;].

Also, a bonus hint : apart from the old requirement, the new one is completely deterministic and reproducible.

That actually made me breath a sigh of relief. I may get annoyed by it, but only one secret far from ruins the game. Honestly when I saw the Berserker Armor I got a little worried about the path things might take, but if the game is sticking to just one secret then I can rest easier.

With that comment the condition for dragonslayer is easy enough to figure out.

I think someone going to need to run the game through a decompiler before we find out about that armor...

Not necessarily. The source material gives a pretty good idea of what it might be. Now to find the cursed armour. :|
