Title: HELP!

Hey guys i just downloaded doomrl, timidity, simple media something, and its "mixer" one of the other pre-reqs. that came up as intro.en(glish) but i cant find the last lug 5.1 know where i could get it? also can someone explain to me the process of starting the game up im just developing an interest in code and cant seem to be able to figure it out, i am a newbie to this stuff.

Hold on a second -- don't panic.

What version of DoomRL are you running?  Windows?  Linux?  If Linux, what distribution are you running it on?  If Windows, have you tried to just extract everything and running the doomrl.bat file?

He's using the linux version.
You can find the latest (pre-built) linux executables of lua here (http://luabinaries.sourceforge.net/download.html) (the last few items).

(alternatively, to build lua 5.1 for linux yourself, I suggest you download this (http://www.lua.org/versions.html#5.1) and see this (http://www.lua.org/faq.html#1.1))
