Hard to picture firefly in roguelike form. I guess it would be kind of like prospector or something? It would need to have some kind of party system, systems for combat and exploration on space and land, randomized missions, planets and cities... would be a ridiculous amount of work to get done right. It's obviously up to you but I would be wary of committing to a project of such a scope with so many other irons in the fire.

YES.

I'd assume it might have something more to do with turn-based shooty combat than spaceflight, as is largely the opposite of the case with ASCII Sector, but I'd be very happy with a Firefly Roguelike made by Kornel (and anyone who volunteers to help).

I'd still like to see DoomRL expanded, of course, but...



I would have linked to ASCII Sector, but the site currently seems to be down, which makes me sad.
