Title: No more AoI + mods screwing
Post by: GrimmC on October 17, 2011, 12:05
Dear devs,

Could we change AoI so that you no longer lose a mod if you cancel or try to apply it to an item which can't take it? I just got screwed out of a nano mod AGAIN because of this. (On the Railgun, which, I note, used to be moddable.) It makes it very difficult to try and play the game when stuff like this can happen.

While I agree that Mods should not be included in the Angel of Impatience restrictions, the entire idea of Angel of Impatience is that you "use it or lose it."

How hard would it be to just put the mod back on the ground instead of wasting it?

Interestingly, if you try to "put the mod back on the ground," it disappears.

Yeah, this was pretty annoying. So, I'm happy to say, this is fixed for the next version.

that's awesome.  I think AoI is the real "Purity" mode, good to see it more playable.
