What ever happened to the Graphics For DoomRL project?

I remember them releasing 20 working graphic sprites for this...

I think "they" are currently chained up somewhere in the Chaosforge, ready to be unleashed upon the unsuspecting masses once 1.0.0 is ready. ;)

haha. it would be quite interesting with doomRL like that but i am kind of attached to the textbased game.
Well, we cant know the results before the game is out right? ;)
