Title: [Fixed][0.9.9.6] Mod order still affects piercing blade assembly
Post by: Rabinowitz on March 08, 2012, 07:17
Do not know if anybody mentioned this yet:
Depending of the order you aplpied mods to combat knife, you will receive:

PA: piercing combat knife (3d6) time 1,0s, accuracy +1
AP: piercing combat knife (3d5) time 1,0s, accuracy +1

This seems to apply to several assemblies which can be applied to multiple different base items.  Only durability, protection, and damage seem to retain this; knockback and accuracy don't seem to work this way.

So far, I've seen it on Piercing Blade and Enviromental Boots.

There will probably be a number of changes regarding assemblies over time. For now, piercing blade and environment boots have been addressed so that they aren't order-dependent.

I just discovered the same thing about nanofiber (PB) armor: if the B mod is applied first, resulting speed penalty will be greater.
