Title: Different Genders?

I know this sounds silly.

Canonically speaking, the Doom space marine that appears in the franchise is male. In DoomRL, there is no classification if you want to customize your character in this way. Statistically speaking, it wouldn't affect base statistics, since its just a minor thing. Has this idea been suggested before?

Would be kind of neat, since I've used a few female names to 'title' certain types of run.

If it's not something that would be hard to put in, go for it?

I think it was classified as counter-DOOMish, and discarded. I don't think women should fight in HERE - I mean women characters, not players, obviously.

Last time this was discussed, the result was that it couldn't hurt, but it would be a lot of work, and so it isn't a priority atm.
