Medical armor heal the player or not?
I use it but don't feel it function.

If memory serves me well, you only get healed up to 25% of your max HP. If you have more HP than 25%, no healing occurs.
I relied on that to survive City of Skulls on a bungled AoSh run I think -- the mortem should be on the forums.

Medical Armor is one of the most useless items imo.

It does have decent stats. 2 armor and 20% bullet, melee, shrapnel resists isn't really all that bad. Personally I value armor protection over health, as health powerups and medkits are more common than armor shards, so I would tend to take it off when I get low on health, but it's perfectly serviceable otherwise. It's no duelist armor, but it's much better than green.

I agree. If I'm at 25% or less, I'll just use a large med-pack. If I don't have any of those, I'm probably going to die anyway. :)

Perhaps upping the maxHP percentage to, say, 50%, might make this armor more worthwhile?

Yeah, 25% is very near being 1 hit KOed by a mere Hell Knight.

I think it heals a little faster than the time it takes to use a medpack -- I cannot remember exactly. All I knew was that with the Medical Armour on, I was just Shottymanning my way through City of Skulls and not actually in real danger of dying when I thinned out dem Lost Souls.

I've had a great time in the City of Skulls with the opposite - necroarmor plus vampyre equals awesome.

At least its modable... And has resists.

LOL! Believe it or not, I do die quite a bit in this game. Behind each of my 20-odd Diamond badges, there are hundreds of games in which I died horribly. :)
