On some reason I must downgrade to Windows Vista.
Will DoomRL work under Vi?
-
I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.
But you are welcome to always try it out and let us know of the outcome. =)
-
I can vouch for DoomRL working on Vista (32bit at least)
-
Works there (Vista 32 bit SP2).
Btw: remember to apply Service Packs after you install system.
-
I may be a bit late, but DoomRL worked fine when I ran it under Vista. It should work fine for you, too.
-
Thanks guys for report!
But, I can't use VI on my netbook because some drivers incompatibility (wifi driver is most important). Very sad...
I tried to use driverpacks, but it not working for me.
Device Model - Samsung NP-N100 - by default MeGoo OS presented (some sort of linux distro). Windows Seven is supported. For strange reason drivers for Seven doesn't work on Vista.

Have you tried WinXP ones?

Yes. I tried XP, but get some lags on game.
With @Intel graphical driver for XP, DoomRL plays very slow in graphical version. (XP supported not well)
For console - my eyes are tired.
-
I found some sort of solution for my device and license questions.
Now, I'm Ubuntu Linux user - and Doom RL played well.
But I saw some sort of graphical bug - and go to place my note to bug section.

That is suprise, as Win console is not that bad, imho. You can configure it usually almost as large as screen size.
