When do they show up? I don't even see them in my player profile - are they unlocked at some point, or are they not part of this release?
I ask because, while I'm otherwise not in a position to be attempting platinum badges, much less angelic, I've been having reasonable luck with AoOC runs lately, and wanted to try Shotgun Angelic - however, I would hate to complete it and not receive the badge because they don't actually exist, or haven't been unlocked yet.
What gives?

If you are willing to land a real quick Diamond and had some fun on AoOC, then Longinus Diamond on N! AoB+AoOC is perhaps the quickest. Of course, it would take loads of trial and error, and also lots of luck - but it's attainable.
If you don't feel like that much of luck and/or skill, UV AoMC with a Cateye Scout is another relatively easy way to grab Gatekeeper Diamond. It requires some luck at the Anomaly, where you probably want a lucky phase from the initial ambush and some reliable means of knockback. Cybie, with Dodgemaster, is then almost trivial.

Get your first Diamond, and they'll show up a page after the list of Diamonds like they were always there.
As an aside, my one and only Diamond badge so far in both 0.9.9.6 and 0.9.9.7 have been Technician Diamond...and it might stay that way forever :/

If you can do a UV YAAM run, then you can easily get Scavenger diamond, if you have enough medkits when you get to the vaults. That was my first in every version I got a diamond.
