Title: YAVP again.. no Cat Eye this time!

Ok, i know i post way too many YAVPs, but i just had to share this one.. i swear i'll stop posting them now unless i do something radically different ;P

 On level 7 he found a hellish city.
 On level 8 he found a hellish city.
 On level 9 he found a hellish city.
 Afterwards he witnessed the Wall.
 On level 10 he battled through a maze of rooms.
 On level 11 he battled through a maze of rooms.
 On level 12 he battled through a maze of rooms.
 On level 13 he battled through a maze of rooms.
 On level 14 he found hellish caves.
 He then ventured into the Halls of Carnage.
 On level 15 he battled through a maze of rooms.
 On level 16 he battled through a maze of rooms.
 On level 17 he found a hellish city.
 On level 18 he found a hellish city.
 Then he ventured into the Spider's Lair.
 On level 19 he found a hellish city.
 Then at last he found the Phobos Arena.
 There finally he defeated the Cyberdemon.

 Before him 31 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:
 26 of those were killed.
 1 of those was killed by something unknown.

 Some rumours though, say that the Cyberdemon was killed already!
 Is he immortal? 4 souls claim to have killed him...
 4 killed the bastard and survived.

this was my 2nd try at not using Cat Eye (not counting my first couple of games, cause i had no clue then :D) and it went rather well. But it did show me how overpowered Cat Eye really is. Without it, there's no creeping up on that Baron of Hell or Hell Knight and shooting him without fearing retaliation. No running away from cacodemons and arachnotrons before they get close enough to see you.

offcourse, you get to choose 2 other skills early in the game that i'd usually not pick till i get to clvl 3. but you have to think a lot more about what skill you're going to get next, and what strategy you will use for hellish cities. Even Hell's Arena got (slightly) more challenging :)

edit: oh yeah, done the Wall and Spider's Lair without Cat Eye for the first time too!! but damn the wall is hard without cateye.. spider's lair is only a bit harder than usual.

if spiders lair was a bit harder, then you are good at it!

nah man.. the answer to spider's lair is teleporting away and then using rockets to keep those arachnotrons away. seriously, they didin't hit me much more than when i did have Cat Eye

Try Hellrunner 3... You will not need CatEye to run away from Barons or Cacodemons... :o)
