Title: Cyberdemon On Higher Levels?

Is it just me, or can the Cyberdemon be heard on levels before the last one? I think it was around level thirteen or fourteen that I heard him stomping around somewhere out of sight, then a bunch of explosions and roars, then the sound of the Cyberdemon dying. Sounds to me like the giant is a bit irritable and gets in a firefight with anyone around him whenever I get to the level, so I have not yet caught him. Is the Cyberdemon's sound affects from Doom just given to another monster, or is he toying with me?

I think the sound you're referring to is for the Arachnotrons.
It seems like they use the stomping sound sometimes.
Would be a helluva surprise though to run into the Cybie early, though!

I've never heard the Cyberdemon's death sound anywhere before seeing him. However, it's a little odd that the Arachnotrons use the Spider Mastermind's death sound.

...Also, running into Cybie early would be, to be frank, quick, horrible death...Though he DOES appear more than once in Doom and Doom 2...
