For those who don't have a slightest clue where from did Kornel took mechanics for DiabloRL I present Jarulf's Diablo Guide (http://www.lurkerlounge.com/content/view/751/110/). This guy done wonders in terms of reverse engineering Diablo - he eaven worked out monsters AI (sic!) - so I think he deserves an mention :)

Lookie there, Kornel has adopted my favorite anime goodguy for his avatar. Go both of ye, Guts of Berserk and Kornel of ChaosForge.

WHOAA! Diablo is one of my fav titles, and "tuned" by Mr. Kornel, it becomes a MUST have it! The first time I saw it I felt soul-touched...

Sorry to disappoint you but DiabloRL is abandoned since long ago (more specificly Kornel made it open-source and left for anyone who wishes to finish it... apparently no one with suitable knowledge had time/will to do so)

Huh. That sorta sucks.
As a "I have a lot to do, but..." sort of thing, I could mess with it in the not-very-near future. Someone yell at me in a few months.

Hey guys i just wanna say gj on all the work yu have done on all your rl games.  I really enjoy diablorl alot and unfortunately i have no programming experience or i would hop on and help anytime for free. I hope you guys decide to continue the project(or keep at it if you still are doing it) because its games like diablorl and doomrl which got me into rl games.  I hope everyone is having a good day(or night depending on where you are) and keep up the good work.

I'm sorry, I just downloaded the DiabloRL recently and was wondering how i edit the config.lua file to enable sound?

In the sound department, DiabloRL can directly play sounds and music from your Diablo installation – just edit config.lua and pass it the path to DIABDAT.MPQ and you’re set!

You'll need the original Diablo, or at least the MPQ file it uses.

And then you can open and edit it with notepad or any other txt editor ;)
