Would you look at that... And it appears that "Zombie roguelike" on google places that game at the top. >_< I admit defeat Me 0 - Internet 1, can't believe I missed that...

You get more experience on higher difficulty levels, I'm no expert though as I just started playing myself :)

edit: Actually I've just assumed you get more exp, maybe you don't? I know that more monsters are spawned on higher difficulty though.

Yes! Yes! That's what is wanted by everyone! A zombie roguelike!
Seriously, there aren't any zombie roguelikes, except of some crappy mod of some bigger RL, and in my opinion zombies deserve a roguelike. Think about all those zombie geeks who would start worshipping the Creator of first ZombieRL! It it going to be considered? Please!
Oh, and welcome everyone! I ask for your forbearence, I don't use english outside of school too often:)

Heh, I can see that you like Zombies seeing as you brought this thread back to life and all that ;)

Seriously though, I've been looking for a zombie RL but haven't found any that looks all that good. But I guess it's hard to make an interesting ZRL? basically it's slow moving drone-like creatures that don't use weapons that have to be either avoided or shot down in huge numbers... ok I'm getting excited here :)

It'd be really cool to generate a new city every game, with gun shops and malls of course :), and then see how long you could survive. Maybe add a timer of some sort, like survive for 10.000 turns and then get to the helipad and get rescued. As the game starts out there's few zombies but the longer you survive the more of them pop up of course. I've actually entertained the idea of creating such a RL, I quickly ended that train of thought however, I have no programming skills :)

Hey, first post here and all that. Shame it had to be about a problem though :)

In any event, I've been trying to DL the DoomRL and AliensRL zipped archives. However when I try to unpack them I get alerts about corrupted files. Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT: Seems the problem is on my end
