Exactly. My best try so far was level 65, CL 19, and I pretty much killed everything I found (97%). But it was getting dangerous..

First AoB win and first full win too!!! Too bad I didn't notice JC health was so low before the final blow, because he ruined a perfect kill score :(

It also was the first time I clear the mortuary, so I got the Angelic Set to boot. All in all it felt pretty easy. I guess this time the RNG blessed me, or it's time for harder dificulties.

Yes, the traits are the only benefit, but note that they can be a huge buff compared to, let's say +5 HP per level.
Of course! I just wanted to know if I can rush the deeper levels in Ao100 without missing some benefits.

Medals that can be earned multiple times will only award the highest value that you've managed to obtain.Ok, thanks for the example. What I thought as a bug was the inconsistency beetwen how the Icarus Cross and the UAC Star were awarded (as I got both Bronzefrom the same run), but it is entirely possible that I killed 25, got damaged and then killed another 50. I don't remember that run.
So, sorry for the nonbug. Is there any way to mark this as closed?

First Angel of Pacifism victory! And I didn't have any of the Icarus Crosses. The game rewarded me with the Major, but other badges/medals I got earlier were awarded even when the requirement were met for a superior award (like UAC Star, I got Bronze and Silver with the same rush).
So unless the incoherence is intentional, I guess it's a bug.

I didn't found this anywhere, so.. what are the benefits of leveling up besides traits? In an Ao100 is it worth it to kill everything when you already have all the traits you want?

I killed the Angel of Death with my bare hands (although the game showed a chainsaw :P) without taking a scratch , so I tested this with the Longinus Spear.. it works too.

I didn't found this reported anywhere, so I registered just to bitch about it (kidding).
I was playing Angel of shotgunnery and trying to be a true Ash Campbell when I noticed that while attacking with the chainsaw time didn't pass. So I could attack in melee forever totally unattacked until the monster was dead. Also works with a combat knife. The game gives the "This is a weapon for wimps, not a true man!" message, and the marine punches the monster (sound of fists is heard, damage really low), and time does not pass at all.

PS: fu**ing awesome game!
EDIT: it also happens in Angel of Marksmanship and in both modes with forbidden weapons (like a chaingun)
