well i had been trying to go shottyman previous times before but i hadnt discovered coward yet. always had it on cautious which was getting me killed by the 3rd level (i came to realize accuracy + shotgun is pointless). guess ill have another go at it. i survived that far by swapping supershotguns which helped me wipe the two arcvilles i saw in a few momments. My plan was to get an advanced double shotgun and put a damage mod and up the magazine a bit.

I would probably have made it alot further if hadnt ran out of ammunition. as you can tell i ran completely out of everything and was reduced to beating lost souls with my fists.

I always loved Doom's shotgun and doom 2's super shotgun (which is better than the chaingun). Kinda saddens me that it isnt hardly a match for chainguns in the rougelike.

Well cept for the first area where you need to use a pistol to get a shotgun.
shotguns need some love or i need sum strategy. Ive played AoMk and its easier to play than shotguns only. now if my marine had one of thse http://www.lakesideguns.com/c3gallery/sweepers.html
life would be much easier :D
but at any rate. i gave it my best. (no save scumming)
EDIT: Also i ran out of ammo... wasnt much for the shotgun around.
