I might be alone in this, but I think the Elephant Gun blows other shotguns out of the water. If I'm going for a shotgun focused build it is my primary weapon. Tactical Shotguns are great, especially when you're not getting shotgun traits, but they can't really compete with an Elephant Gun when you have the appropriate traits. Shell efficiency, the larger cone of fire, and higher damage/knockback all make it fantastic. The only real downside is when you are cornershooting, but the extra knockback helps offset this, and you can combat it with appropriate use of ammoboxes or even sidestepping if you move fast enough.

It's possible to acquire a Storm Bolter pistol with 10 out of 9 bullets loaded.
If you reload it, it gets filled to 265/9, and if this would cause you to consume an ammo stack, that stack is instead filled to 65536 minus the ammo difference. If you drop that stack and pick it back up, it's converted to 250 ammo and stacks normally again. If you put the Storm bolter from your hands in your inventory, it gets reduced to 75/9 ammo.

If you ever fire enough bullets to drop the ammo count below the max, it functions normally again.

Thanks to this trait I was able to make a Biggest Fucking Gun and twoshot the mastermind.

Also make a really spiffy sniper burst nuclear plasma rifle, but the BFG was the memorable part.

Is Angel of Darkness supposed to make enemies respawn as if you were playing on Nightmare, even on Hey Not Too Rough?
