Ballistic vest is probably the least useful of the Hell's Arena rewards. Who needs a vest when you already have a P-modded red armor?

So, I figured out a way to survive Anomaly without phaseshift. Put on the red armor, have some shotgun in your secondary slot, and rocket launcher in primary. grab a large health globe so you are at 200%, and then immediately run. As soon as the walls explode, rocketjump to the left, then run a few spaces left, then switch to shotgun and shoot the lost souls. You will take damage but survive.

If you finish Hell's Arena, chances are you'll find phaseshift armour

Problem! I just finished Hell's Arena, and I got a ballistic vest instead of a phaseshift armor. This gives me a problem with the out-running strategy...

Oh I see now! The phaseshift armor is way better, because it has additional knockback, so the rocketjump throws you close enough to the left side door. I will try this out next time!! Thanks a lot! Maybe that is why they gave us phaseshift armor for clearing the arena.

Hey guys,

I have a problem passing this level. I put on my best armor, get the large health globe so that I'm ~150% health when at the middle. But I still die to lost souls/cacodemons.
Or else, I try the rocket jump trick to get back to the start. But the problem is I can only rocketjump with my armor off. Then I die quickly without having made it back.
Unless I find an early phase device, it seems very hard to get past. Any tips on this?

Is cerberus armor that great? I did some calculations and for most things a PTA red armor outperforms a Cerberus/P mod armor.

That's great to know!
So for a modded exotic, the modded status does not take priority.
It would be logical that a modded exotic assembly, then, the modded status would not take priority either!

So if you scavenge such a thing, either it is treated as an exotic, or as an assembly. Any idea which of these it is?

Cerberus boots don't take damage from lava or acid. If I have the mods and the build, I will have cerberus boots with agility mod, and a tactical boots and swap them around. Cerb boots + agility mod is better than environmental boots.

Hey guys! This is a great game. Ok I have searched forums so I hope this has not come up before.

(spoilers)

What happens when you disassemble a modded exotic assembly? For example, here is something from a real game I am playing right now (Ao100 scavenger)

I have a BFG 9000, which is an exotic. An exotic should give 1/3 chance Firestorm or Sniper, and 2/3 chance of a normal mod.
Now, I put three power mods on it, making the assembly VBFG9000. An assembly gives a random normal mod.
Lastly, I put a Firestorm mod on the assembly. A modded weapon will give back a random mod used in it.

So in this case, which of the three takes priority? What should I expect to get?
