I didn't ? So...

I HATE HELL KNIGHTS !

So nice game it was, my first victorious attempt at Hell's Arena on HMP. And everything is destroyed by those two dudes. :/

Be aware that stuff shot from a distance will move towards you, and that your chance to hit from out-of-sight is halved.  But yes, that's what Int 3 is for.  Of course, in the end even just knowing where the bastards are is enough to be able to approach the situation properly, even if you couldn't hit stuff from outside vision range.

I thought You had a 90% to-hit reduction outside of LoS. If it's only 50%, maybe I should look into trying out an Int character. (I never used them in 0.9.8.5 on principle, and I thought they were pretty useless in this version so I've never tried one)

Yes, that's what Int 3 is for.

That was a rhetorical question, mate :).

If it's only 50%, maybe I should look into trying out an Int character.

Even with to-hit halved, it's still useful to see where the next danger comes from. Try it, Int is a good trait.

Be aware that stuff shot from a distance will move towards you, and that your chance to hit from out-of-sight is halved.

With RL and a huge knockback it provides they should remain where they are. Thanks for a warning, anyway.
The only thing I fear are our favourites[/irony]'s acidic bolts. Do you know can they fire at me if they can't see me ?
