Before him 13 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:
 12 of those were killed.
And 1 couldn't handle the stress and committed a stupid suicide.

--------------------------------------------------------------

For those wondering why it took me 14 games to get a victory, my first 13 games were all attempts a shotgun-based, because Kornel had said that he'd made shotguns actually useful in this version. Instead, they seem to be even more useless then before, not just in comparison to the SoaB'd stream weapons but even on their own, thanks to the shortened range and new tactics system. (One of the very few saving graces of shotguns in earlier versions was that they had 100% accuracy even in coward mode)

Meanwhile, the boost from SoaB is even more game-breakingly powerful then I predicted here. Trigger Happy is just the icing on the cake. Since picking up a chaingun and getting my first level of SoaB, I was not even remotely in danger of dying the entire game. For shame.

@shotguns vs new tactics - actually if you have shottyman you do benefit from new tactics, as shottyman moving reload and combat shotgun pump act on "move speed" and thus increased speed from tactics improves that.

Hmm. I didn't think about the whole running thing. Not sure if that enitrely counteracts the increased chance of being hit though.

At any rate, I think that SoaB/TH definitely need a nerf. I'd suggest limiting SoaB to 2 levels and getting rid of Triggerhappy entirely.

For whatever n00bs words are worth I agree with Zeb that Trigger-happy Sons of Bitches are overpowered in a really big way. Im with limiting Son of a Bitch to just 2 levels but I would prefer if Triggerhappy just got nerfed to only adding 1 round to the burst of fire and there was some kind of flavour nerf to the chaingun. For example, you could add a warm-up period (0.3-0.4s) before the chaingun starts to fire to demonstrate the barrels accelerating to the right speed. Currently, in a hypothetical no trait situation, I would pick chaingun over combat shotgun as my weapon of choice just because its much easer to use and pretty much as effective (if not more).
