 Before him 30 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:

 And 1 couldn't handle the stress and committed a stupid suicide.

 Some rumours though, say that the Cyberdemon was killed already!
 Is he immortal? 7 souls claim to have killed him...
 4 sacrificed itself for the good of mankind.
 3 killed the bastard and survived.

After telling all my friends that a) they should play doomrl and b) that Hard was basically impossible, I'm pleased to report my first win on Hard.

Went Chaingun (with fairly standard Traits) and then Plasma Rifle, flipping back to Chaingun when I felt I should conserve ammo. Had the rocket launcher prepared so kept ending up dropping the Plasma Rifle (and losing it). Actually completely lost my modded Chaingun this way.

First couple of levels of Hell were very hard, being dumped in the middle of a load of Cacodemons and similar. Used up all my phase devices and med kits to survive. Also had almost no armour up until Hell 4 when the RNG gave me more red armor and large med kits than I could carry. Still, I haven't seen a unique item for many many games.

Would have tried for 100% kills but there were a few levels that would have involved walking over a lot of lava so I played safe just for the win. Must have missed the Halls of Carnage, presuming that they are always generated. There was actually an invunerability on Hell 9 right near the stairs, but I didn't have a nuke and I had 4 Barons and 2 ArchViles up my arse at that point so I used it there and then.

Cybie wasn't much of a threat with my stocks of med kits and armors. But, OMG, I was as tense as anything going through the last few levels of Hell, thinking that this could be my first win :) Played to Delta-Q-Delta since Kornel's music makes my game crash :)
