I would have to play angel of max carnage, because from what I hear this is a dream for shotgunners. But I think you shouldn't be allowed to use melee weapons. Instead, you can bash the enemies with your trusty shotgun [:

And as for starting with a shotgun, you can already have it on the first level. Don't know, just don't like the idea, maybe the others will speak up.

Sounds like angel of berserk and you can also use a shotgun.

It just doesn't seem as special as Marksmanship or Berserk.

Advanced shotgun... Heh!

Now seriously, I don't think Angel of Shotgunnery would be a good addition. The best challenges are those that dramatically change the gameplay (AoB) or balance a disadvantage with a fun advantage (AoMr). Playing with shotguns only in my opinion is too small a disadvantage to allow for a cool advantage to make this a fun challenge.

This could work.  Start with an advanced shotgun or advanced combat shotgun and some extra shells.  No melee allowed- if you run out of shells you're screwed (it wouldn't be that bad, shotgun ammo can be very efficient)  It would be sort of generic, but no more so than the pistol challenge.

This idea never got enough love. It's challenging and reasonably interesting, and it'd finish the set of weapon-related challenges. Unless we also want angel of rocketry.
