Haven't played doomrl for a while, so i got pretty excited about this victory.

 580 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:
 529 of those were killed.
 3 of those were killed by something unknown.
 2 didn't read the thermonuclear bomb manual.
 And 25 couldn't handle the stress and committed a stupid suicide.

 7 sacrificed itself for the good of mankind.

Well, this time I was extremely lucky as required to get Pacifism Diamond. On levels 1 and 2 i got Berserk packs. Stairs were not close to starting position, so i was forced to run through crowds of monsters and most of them died. So to the end of level 2 i leveled up twice. I leveled up when i descended to level 3 and when i got to arena. I leveled up so fast that i got Master survivalist perk when i entered level 9 of phobos base. I found lots of large medpacks and also one homing phase device and three phase devices. I was so lucky when i had problems i always managed to immediately find stairs, and when my powerups effects ended i always managed to find another one without any trouble. And i even found Nano pack and assembled power armor.

 The only troublesome levels were level 22 (a bit) and level 24(VERY). There was an arachnotron cave on level 22, i spawned on the river not far from right bottom end of the map, and moved left. I also had invulnerability powerup. I found entry to the mortuary but i didn't want to enter, so i continued my searches  until i got to the left side of the map and find out that there is no stairs anywhere and my invul powerup ended. And then i understood that only place where stairs can be is just near right-bottom corner of the map, in those several tiles that i wasn't able to see when i appeared on the map. So i had no berserk, no invul powerups, and between me and stairs was a cave full of angry arachnotrons. But because invul powerup ended and colours returned to the map i with relief noticed another invul globe not far from me, just next to the bottom wall. I picked it and finished this and next levels.


And then i got to level 24, last level, and at last i ran out of my luck. When i entered it i had no powerups and near to 200% health. I had three phase devices and lots of large medpacks(my inventory was nearly full of them). I spawned in the room that is just below me on the screenshot below, that room without a wall now.
When i opened a door, a first thing that i saw was Arch-Vile and Barons pack several tiles below the door. I tried to escape around the corner to the left. And found there another Barons pack and several arachnotrons in the distance. I had understood that I dont have any chances in this situation and phased... Two tiles to the bottom! Got hit several times again so my power armor was destroyed. Another phase.. Ok. Left side of the map, envirosuit and cacodemon near me.
I used one large med pack, put on new armor, not paying attention to the cacodemon at all, and scouted area. Nothing. So i needed to somehow get to the other side of the map. I phased the last time, and i got right in the room with the water in the center of the map.
I tried to get to the top side of the map, and proceed to the right being protected by the wall of the room where i started. After that i healed with large medpacks every second or third move and if i was unlucky, then when i healed with large medpack i lost whole 100% on the same turn(and that was 100 or 110 hp). Thanks to the Master survivalist trait that allowed me to heal to more than 100% health. i managed to walk through those barons, and get some of them killed, and get away from the others.
I walked to the right, and YES.. i noticed stairs. Another move and NO.. There was third pack of barons on this level and one more arch-vile(the moment of screenshot). But because of my enormous luck on previous levels i still had several large med-packs and one small. So i managed to get to that stairs and to complete my N! AoPc run.

So to the end of level 2 i leveled up twice. I leveled up when i descended to level 3 and when i got to arena.

Wow, hitting clvl5 at HA is just about the fastest I've ever heard of anyone leveling on AoPc. It used to be pretty standard for one of the older veterans (I think AStranger) to quit if he didn't reach clvl5 by Chained Court: this usually meant either dlvl3 HA and dlvl6 CC, or killing enough enemies by cross-fire to level up on the first couple of floors.

Surely, the RNG was looking graciously upon you that day. While a lot of the game has gotten slightly easier, I'd say AoPc has only gotten harder. The requirement of no HR on Pacifism Diamond isn't that big of a deal, but even completing it on N! is ridiculous in and of itself.

Actually I've decided to drop the Plat/Diamond badges in 0995, since they're way too luck-based and don't really require that the player be "good" at what they're doing. Such a victory will probably merit a medal though, since it's certainly worth SOMEthing. (This doesn't discredit your achievement here, though: I myself have only gotten Pacifism Diamond once during 0991 and know how mind-numbingly ridiculous it is.)
