I beat Strongman Platinum yesterday and realized today I did not receive the Strongman Gold badge. Not a big deal, but should be fixed for the next version if someone else can confirm. Thanks.

badges and medals are different, did you "Win standard game using knives and fists HMP" or was it on a lower difficulty?

The quoted change only applies to medals for which the lesser medal's condition is always fulfilled when earning the greater medal.  Badges have never had exclusions, but have never counted quantity either.

In this case, it is perfectly possible to quality for Strongman Platinum by winning on Hey, Not Too Rough, but still not qualify for Strongman Gold.  This is intended.
