So, somebody gave me good advice for completing AoB Nightmare and it worked!  :D  Apparently, I was just way too bloodthirsty in my previous games.  :P  I did stop to kill the nightmare creatures at hellgate, though.  I was invulnerable, so it was a good opportunity for valuable experience toward getting Vampyre.

The tensest of tense moments occurred on level 24, though, when I found myself in a hellish cave populated by arachnotrons and my berserk ran out!  :o  I was down to my last med-pack (a small one) and I hadn't even found the exit, and I thought I was about to lose after all, but then the RNG said, "Ha ha ha!  Just joking, you can win now." And I spotted the exit with (and I swear to the RNG it's true) a berserk pack next to it!  I could almost picture a little sign hanging on it saying:

"Dear Tormuse,

Use this to kill the Cyberdemon,

sincerely,
Random Number God."

I doubt that I would've won without that pack.  Praise be to the RNG!  :D
