A. idk what you mean by poll-spoiling, I don't really read the forums much.
B. if this has too much in spoilers, do whatever you need to do. Change the font invisible, delete the whole thing, whatever, but you might want to post a sticky about spoilers then. I just figured a list would be helpful, and I didn't want to post it in the wiki because I hadn't confirmed/got details on a lot of stuff.
C. I should also note that the stuff I post (and, I imagine, the stuff other people post) is only what I've found in game and figured out- i.e. I don't have anything besides stats and basic info on the items, because I don't have access to the code, and i'm not about to ask kornel to give me details about any items. In other words, the info I posted is fairly basic stuff in terms of learning the game mechanics and 'spoiling' the game.

Personally, considering that roguelikes don't really reward experimentation (Really, who's going to get to the very end of Nethack and go 'Wow, I might win for the first time here. But first I'll just see what happens if I offer the amulet to the wrong God...') what with perma-death and all, I support the posting of spoilers. Those who want to be spoiled can read them. Those who don't can choose not to. It'll save a frustrating situation like 'Oh, I wonder what 'R'eloading this plasma rifle do- ARGH I'M DEAD' from occurring.

Malek made a poll "which unique weapon data would you want to be revealed first". Imagine that he's a Dad who bought his son a cool Xmas gift as a surprise and you found the hidden box few weeks ahead and unwrapped it already ;)
