OK, so let's say that an average DoomRL YAVP costs 80000 turns.
1 second = 10 turns, so you need 8000 seconds.
Which is 8000/60 = 133 minutes (rounded)
Which is 133/60 = 2.2 hours (rounded)

So what did we just learn? It only takes a stupid human 2 hours and 12 minutes to destroy Hell, the core of all evil!

2 objections.

1 - DooMish. If you think that by killing CD or JC you are destroying Hell, you're totally wrong.)

2 - Logical. You want to turn the game into a global RPG, where you train your character from the very beginning, from his infancy, choosing: give him ordinary milk, or only blessed one (+1 to IronMan), what diapers to equip on him: the ones with kittens, or the ones with angels (+1 armor against demons)? And every year of his life means year of your life spent on it (what you want, destruction of Hell is not a fast process at all, you know).

yea it also depends how much you put into strategy and whether you go into the  Special levels or not
its all on how well you want it done, how fast you want it done and how good you are
there is a lot of variables you have to put in to play and some statistic wont tell you much

Blade, I don't think there's anything blessed about our doomguy. Half the time the game is telling you he's a brutal badass. The other half is spent blowing the shit out of things. I think if there was anything special about his milk and diapers, it was steroids - and a chastity belt that just made him more angry ^^
