Note 1: Medium bores me now. I've won around 4 games out of the last 10 I played. I'm going to start playing hard or something soon.
Note 2: As this is one of the more interesting runs I've done, I'm experimenting with a new way of posting it.

Before him 118 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:
107 of those were killed.
2 of those were killed by something unknown.
And 5 couldn't handle the stress and committed a stupid suicide.
Some rumours though, say that the Cyberdemon was killed already!
Is he immortal? 4 souls claim to have killed him...
4 killed the bastard and survived.
--------------------------------------------------------------
So I'm monitoring phobos when everything goes to shit. Big whoop. That's happened like 120 times now, they put it in the job description!
Of course, what I didn't sign up for is the nukes. Aparantly they want to keep hell clean for good this time. The UAC gave me no less than 25 nukes with instructions to arm one of them for 300 seconds whenever I find a new level in the good ol' basement.
The first 15 levels go fine. I did have some close calls with a few of the nukes and used a homing phase device a bit early but hey, I'm only human (One would hope.)
I destroyed the BFG on level 13. Ah-hah-haaah. The UAC told me that they've never seen a marine blow up a BFG before.
However, I made up for it by getting the Jackhammer on level 14. That thing saw more action than any of my other weapons combined. Heck, I was going to go rapid-fire specialisation but then the Jackhammer came along and FORCED me to go shotgun specialisation just because it would be a dishonour to the weapon if I didn't.
The Jackhammer easily cleared out levels 17-21. I was taking so little damage I amassed 10 large health packs.
In level 22, I had a dialemma. I had my jackhammer, which was probably better at AoE damage than the freaking Rocket Launcher I was lugging around, and 10 large health packs. I destroyed the last BFG I saw and I never got to do the city of skulls (Not enough shells at the time). But was it enough for the mortuary? I asked the UAC, who were absolutely no help (Though I've gotten used to that by now), they just said "Of all the 120 marines that we've sent down here, none of them were stupid enough to touch that place."
That sounded like a challenge, so I ran right on in.
It was barely enough. The Arch-Viles possess some sort of primitive brain capable of at least basic tactics. They were far more interested in ressurecting the barons and arachnotrons than they were in actually directly killing me. They often did both in the same second (Bloody fast, they are) but I was up to my ass in arachnotrons and barons before I could say "iddqd".
But by then I was reloading while I moved (I'm not entirely sure why I didn't think of that up until now) and firing big clouds of fluffy death, so I still managed to clear it after using 6 of my health packs. I got this glowy armor thing (looked pretty sturdy, too) and an advanced BFG for my troubles.
Level 24 was a big surprise. The bastards were waiting for me. They'd knocked down every wall and surrounded me (They call it an "arena" or something). With the amount of arch-viles, mancubi and barons it was starting to feel a lot like deja vu. Only this time after I'd killed everything and wasted the rest of my packs, my only reward was the honour of being killed by Mr. Cybie himself.
At level 25, Cybie's little arena, I had the bright idea of using a nuke of my own (I picked up another one on the way) and setting it for 10 seconds. If I couldn't get back up the stairs in time then it'd kill both of us, but that'd still put me in the top 5 most ass-kicking marines ever.
The UAC interveined though. I tried to set up a second nuke but they simply deactivated it with a small message "Are you crazy???"
I cleared the mortuary and agreed to do the whole base under a nuke-enforced time limit, of course I'm crazy. Wait, nuke-enforced time limit?
So I find one of those huge pillars the cyberdemon was hiding behind like a girl and hid on the other side. The idiot obviously smelled my blood in the air (I was looking pretty injured at that point) but couldn't quite figure out how to get around the pillar. So we just sat there laughing maniacally and stupidly mooing for a good 5 minutes at which point the whole place blew up.
Wait a second, that can't've happened. That implies that I died in that explos-
