Dang it, I got logged off trying to post this the first time >.<

Anyhow...so yeah, this is my first win. It's on E, but any great journey starts with a single step.

I had visited the Lava Pits in this run -- having never survived long enough to see them before -- but as I didn't have the envirosuit pack, I had to bail on this one and go down to the next level.

Eventually, I found myself on Lv24 with no monsters left on that level, and only one left to decimate...which I did with a pair of M2-modded BFGs. Six blasts did him in. I had two left, with enough power cells for five more, and a fully-loaded Missile Launcher ready to go if *that* wasn't good enough.

So that's one mode down...four to go >.<

Clearly the RNG is either being beneficial and allowing everyone their first taste of victory...or is drunk. XD
