 Before him 66 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:
 60 of those were killed.
 1 of those was killed by something unknown.
 And 5 couldn't handle the stress and committed a stupid suicide.

I knew I was off to a good start with green armor, six medpacks, and a combat shotgun when I went into the Arena. As things progressed, I got three different unique weapons (including my second railgun, I love that thing), and it went fairly smoothly...

Until about level 22 when I ran out of chaingun ammo. Luckily I held onto my Assault Shotgun, and used it to gather power cells.

But as you may have noticed from my inventory, health at the end was not an issue. Armor, ammo, yeah. Health, nope. My chaingun killed most enemies before they could fire, and TaN and (at the end) Hellrunner kept me in very good health. Most injuries were dealt with with Globes, Supercharges (I got quite a few this time around), and Small Med-Packs.

Didn't have any phase devices to get into the center Vault room, which is a shame, since a Unique spawned on the Vaults this time. I could've had four uniques! But I managed to loot the other two with the Railgun.

This is also the first time I got the Assault Shotgun in a few weeks, which seemed weird since it was my first Unique and one that kept popping up in early games of mine.

The Railgun is probably the most interesting Unique in DoomRL, right besides Grammaton Cleric Berreta and right behind Dragonslayer ;).

Yeah, I like the Beretta. But I never get it when I'm using pistols! The Trigun has only popped up once on a non-pistol game and showed up two or three times on a pistol game, at least.

On the subject of uniques that fit the challenge in question: Nuclear Plasma Rifle in Hell's Armory in Angel of Light Travel. First AoLT game, first Nuclear Plasma Rifle. I should've known that one was going a little too well.
