I still think i did relativly well, but I don't know, considering I thought no-one could get this far, then I see the mortems of at least 50 peopel finishing. I'm still proud, so don't mock me.

I won't, im truly bad at this game, but im not playing it more than some minutes per day (10-20 minutes). Funny once in a while, its always fun since its never the same.

Well, you did make it to level 11, its already quite good IMO.

Your new? Seems so, then welcome to the forum! You'll sure finish this game someday, never give up. And for a FIRST game, you can be proud. My first game ended on level 2...

Welcome! A very nice first game, Most first's are reserved for screwing around trying to get the hang of things.

You dont want to see my nethack morgue.

Anyhow, Its a great achievement! Perhaps something that would have helped is dont bother with Son of a Bitch and Son of a Gun, Rather take a few levels in Tough as Nails, Its like neverending armour :-)

I think some of that helped, but Son of a bitch apperently wasent doing much, and I stopped using the pistol early, considering I didn't notice any difference. And in my second attempt, I die on the tenth floor. I help my right to remain violent.

It's bad when you pull a lever, and 3 Hell knights appear, then you find another and realize you just used 3+ Large med-kits and every single power cell and bullet you had.

Well, I have a friend that finished the game at the first try without cheating. But the guy is a regular ADoM/NetHack winner, so I guess he doesn't count.

Which brings me to the point that DoomRL is too easy for hardcore roguelike players. Guess the difficulty levels is a must-have feature :D.
