This is the closest I've come to victory yet!

If it weren't for getting quintuple-teamed by Cacodemons and getting shot by the Arachnotron that did me in, I might have made it to level 19...

I started with Hellrunner, then took a few levels in Tough as Nails. Once I maxes out Hellrunner, I went for Ironman to boost HP.

I used Coward tactics the whole time, only going Aggressive when under the influence of Berserk Packs/Chainsaw.

Also, a rather high amount of Supercharge Globes spawned this playthrough, so I didn't have to rely on medpacks until about level 14 or so. Also, another favorite tactic of mine in the Hell levels was to make the Arachnotrons walk across the lava, so they take more damage than they have to. >=D

For all the naysayers who look down on the Double Shotgun, bring it to the City of Skulls. You'll gain a sudden appreciation for it. >=D

Well, excuse me while I defy all laws of logic and science and do it anyway!

If you teach yourself to switch tactics more often (going aggressive when you shoot, back to coward to reload or walk), you'll finish the game next time :)
