Look. Even though it is not a joke I cannot stand political correctness past saying "Pass the NaCL, Mum!" once every 3 months. It is a sad reality that we live in a politically correct world.

And there is a reason for the @ symbol to be white, Against the black background that most Roguelikes share a white symbol shows up the best, It sticks out from the coloured NonPlayerCharacters (And no, This does not mean racist violence) so you allways know where you are.
