 Before him 40 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:
 29 of those were killed.
 1 of those was killed by something unknown.
 1 didn't read the thermonuclear bomb manual.
 And 2 couldn't handle the stress and committed a stupid suicide.

 Some rumours though, say that the Cyberdemon was killed already!
 Is he immortal? 7 souls claim to have killed him...
 2 sacrificed itself for the good of mankind.
 5 killed the bastard and survived.

Two factors prevented yours truly from winning:

1) I didn't see a single magazine mod in the entire game, limiting my BFG to 2 shots instead of 3.
2) At the penultimate level, the game decided to throw an army of Viles, Arachnotrons and Revenants at me, which meant that I had to face Cybie with 72% health and no armor left (instead of 182% and full red armor that I had upon entering lvl24).

Most amusing moment of the run: Leaving the Wall with 100+ rockets, 5 shotgun shells, and no other ammo.

It's possible to fight Cybie with low health - especially since you had the BFG, ample cells, and didn't spawn in front of it with no cover in between.  Peek from behind cover to see in which direction it's approaching from (listen to its movement sounds too), then hide and fire the BFG around corners.
