spread the word via mobygames

I've noticed that DiabloRL and Berserk! are missing from mobygames.com database (DoomRL and AliensRL are already on site). While I was updating release info for DoomRL there I though it will only help Kornel if someone had submitted info for those 2 games.

Perhaps it would be good to put DiabloRL, AlienRL and Berserk! on other sites like reloaded.org too, which also include DoomRL but not the rest.

I'm shocked that our oh-so-active community didn't cast more votes for your games. Maybe your <cough> PR people should post links and encourage them to click?

I've submitted chaosforge as Kornel's "dev. website".

EDIT: they've rejected it, claiming it's devoted to games not developer himself, go figure

Why? I've seen some guy adding his game to database.

Another bit of info worthy of adding: reviews from magazines (there used to be scans here? no go without scans http://doom.chaosforge.org/wiki/index.php?title=DoomRL_Media ), which count towards MobyRank.

Has anyone noticed that mobygames has a trivia stating that DoomRL is not freeware but donationware? I'm pretty sure that I, along with many others (the other non-donating chaosforgers and the seemingly limitless lurkers) haven't downloaded.

Update#1: Sent an error report to the mobygames server. Donationware does mean donation required, right? :P

Update#2: Uploaded a cover pic for it, in the same way as AliensRL has. If they reject it, I swear....

Not it does not mean it, it means it is provided for free but donations are welcome.

Submitted the Linux release info.

C'mon, people. Am I the only one here with mobygames account? And even if that's true, creating one is free.

Fixed the scan links on doom.wiki, BTW.

Why not? I don't get it.
The moby standards page even gives an example of submitting dev. bio for yourself, you just need to write it in 3rd person, not 1st ("me, me, me").
Wasn't John Romero submitting info for own games as well?

Submitted the linux release info for AliensRL.

Frankly, if I only had the descriptions (moby standards compliant) I'd add berserk and diabloRL. I just hate typing after several years spent on teh Internets. I have writing block, ya know.

So if a nice (lost) soul would leave me here those descriptions I could add the rest, including screenshots.
