ESCAPE hardcoded in several places
« on: November 01, 2009, 07:04 »

Under linux, hitting escape puts the terminal in 'wait for control sequence', and to generate an escape event you need to hit escape twice. I tried to bind Escape to "`" from "ESCAPE", but in several places (inventory screen and monster description I know off the top of my head) DoomRL still uses the escape key to back out of these screens instead of what is bound (in this case, backtick).

0.9.9/linux
