So, this was only my second ever time beating Angel of 100. My first was in 0.9.8.10 (UV, using the Blaster all the way through), just as 0.9.9 was released, so that something of a last hurrah for that version of DoomRL. I had a very promising UV game a while ago that ended on Level 31, when I didn't realize that the BFG10K shot at the ground like the Revenant's Launcher, and I had aimed it at the square next to me, thinking that it acted just like every other multishot gun.

Anyway, since I was playing in HNTR, this was actually a pretty easy game, except for one panicky period. I used the Onyx Armor most of the way through, and occasionally switched it out for a modded red armor. Then, I accidentally switched over to the Cybernetic Armor (I meant to switch to the Combat Translocator--they both begin with "c" and have long names). No problem, I thought, I'll just have some human captain shoot at me until it gets destroyed. Yeah...before long, I was running around with a 0% armor that I couldn't take off. I placed Bulk and Agility on it, which helped a little bit, and I breathed a sigh of relief when I came across a Megasphere, but one level and a mass of Mancubi later, it had burned back down to 0%. I finally came across a Nano pack, but that was pretty hairy.

I mostly stuck with my modded plasma rifle (didn't find an advanced until the 90s), but the BFG that I came across late in the game saved me from some running and dodging in the last level or 2.
