[0.9.9.1] Chaingun Chainfire Suicide?

So... I'm in hell, running around with a chaingun and Ammochain on. I had just taken down a Baron when a Cacodemon popped out, so naturally I continued chainfiring the bugger. He managed to hit me maybe twice... but I died to something completely different. My mortem lists it as a suicide, there were no barrels nearby, no messages about lava... it's as though the bullets just bounced back at me or something.

Thoughts?

Can you post the mortem? Maybe there is something in there that could help.

You were hit 8 times per turn, but you were using a chaingun, and in the previous turns it looks like you were firing 5 or six per turn. I'm not sure how chainfiring gains, I haven't used it much, but it looks like a lot more shots than your weapon would put out per turn. It may have been the game placing you in front of the target, but something is definitely bugged here, I would say. I can't find a real explanation.
