How do i play dwarf fortress correctly?

PLEASE HELP!i need to know how to play fortress mode correctly [i don't know ANYTHING about fortress mode]and I need to know the keybindings for all modes  g

Read the dwarf fortress wikia, they have a lot of helpful hints and tutorial how to start your own fortress. I would start from there.

Prepare yourself, this is really a hard game.
