The Master and the Minion - IC Thread
Gargulec:
'Die, foul creature!' yells Tristan, striking at the goblin in front of him.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)Minor: Divine Challenge E11
Standard: Enfeebling Strike E11
Tohit: 1d20+10=23
Dmg: 1d8+5=11 and the creature gets -2 to attack.
Xander Morhaime:
The brown goblin, stabbed clean through by Ryltar's rapier, collapsed to the floor... and then apparently collapsed in on itself, its body seemingly drawn into a single point with a brief flash... all that was left to mark its place was its fallen spear and a little glowing sphere of yellowish colour, hovering a foot or two off the ground. The goblin under attack by the paladin, on the other hand, still stood despide the pounding it had received. Just barely, but it still managed to stay upright.
In response to the Drow's display of "rapier" wit, a chorus of boos and hisses came from the raised gallery - followed shortly by another volley of fireballs, half aimed at the Drow, the other half at the monk. Only one managed to hit Ma'Kirr, though, and left minor burns.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Saliak and Tristan continue abusing the one goblin - and it's not quite dead yet.
Ryltar finishes off the other bloodied goblin.
The reds voice their critique of Ryltar's puns and miss all around - one hits Ma'Kirr for 4 damage (19 left)
Madtrixr:
Aden of course wonders about the goblin that just disappeared llike that, but quickly puts his mind back into battle. "Saliak! Try and get over next to this guy in front of me! I'll see if I can't give you an opprotunity!" Aden then tries and brings His sword upside the goblins head, but it's not promising. "Damn! Now I'm whiffing like my brother! He never did practice his form...grr..."
Spoiler (click to show/hide)Standard:Steel Monsoon(Encounter)
Attack[1d20+5]Defense[2d8+5] (1d20+5=10, 2d8+5=13)I'm pretty sure I failed the roll, so I won't go into it...
Xander Morhaime:
The goblin easily ducked Aden's blow, and then came back with its own spear. The thrust struck well, inflicting a serious injury, and the goblin pressed its advantage, forcing Aden back at spear-point and following him. His companion, despite his injuries, also seemed determined to leave a lasting mark on the heroes, lunging out at Tristan and also scoring an excellent hit, the force of the blow knocking the paladin back. Then it promptly moved back towards the pillar and its companion.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)Madtrixr, a small note. I'm not exactly sure where you get the +10 from, your to-hit bonus is +9; that's counting everything, strength, level, proficiency, AND weapon bonuses.
Also, bad luck this time, you both got crit'd.
Aden takes 11 damage (18 remaining).
Tristan also takes 11 damage (22 remaining).
Also, initiative reminder: Reds > Aden (Mad) > Browns > Ma'Kirr (SK) > Saliak (Tav) > Ryltar (M) > Tristan (G)

S.K. Ren:
That was second time today her fur had been burned, which was 2 times too many. Reeling to get a fix on her targets, she spotted them up on a ledge. With amazing speed, she whipped up the stairs and into one of the Goblin Firethrowers. Having impaled him on the spot, she immediately gave the other one a rapid succession of kicks, sending him flying backwards.
